This is a
standard
length
heat shield.  The sides may not be the same by design depending on the model of bike. These are heat deflectors that move the hot air away from your crotch and thigh area making for a more pleasant ride.  They are Leather Cow Hide which does not conduct heat or burn.
They are fast and easy to install, placement is under the seat with a minor adjustment maybe needed to accommodate wiring and seat attachment.
The pictures have studs and conchos but the listing is for either studs
